About the Event

Musician

Antonio Oyarzabal is a concert pianist living in London. He obtained his Masters and Artist Diploma at the Guildhall School, studying with Caroline Palmer. He has made his debut in LSO St Luke’s and in Barbican Hall with different chamber groups. He has also performed with Andrew Marriner, Matthew Jones, Caroline Palmer and alongside the Allegri Quartet and Southbank Sinfonia; also as a soloist with YMSO orchestra. He recently made his debut with Bilbao Symphony Orchestra and conductor Juanjo Mena.

Recently, Antonio recorded his third CD with IBS Classical record label; La Muse Oubliée, a collection of piano works by women composers. This album has been awarded with a Golden Melomano, rated 5 star from BBC Music Magazine, appeared in The Observer, and received glowing reviews from many European magazines. It has been selected as 1 of the 5 best piano albums of 2021 by Fanfare Magazine (US).
